    I feel very foreign right now. What does this tweet mean? What’s it like to be in that mental state?

      What feelings do these images give you?

      (Also keep in mind that Walmart lets you camp overnight in most of their parking lots)

        I haven’t been to one in years since I left Canada, but even when I lived there, I don’t remember it looking that depressing… I hope tweet op feels better.

        lowest socioeconomic demographic

        What’s the difference between “poor people” and “lowest socioeconomic demographic”? Is “economic sociology” an important difference when it’s used instead of “poor”, or is it part of the euphemism treadmill for places where “poor” is now a taboo word?

          What’s the difference between “poor people” and “lowest socioeconomic demographic”?

          Socio= social class/status; economic= income bracket

          I dunno, I’m just a yoga teacher but my side hobby is maximizing my vocabulary outreach because different words have different nuances & depth of meaning, and “socioeconomic demographic” sounded more descriptive & specific than just saying “poor.”

    When I find myself in that situation, I make a point to march my emotional ass down the spiritual Waffle House and start a fight.

    Chillest car park I used to frequent was a random Sainsbury’s in South London. As the sun went down, people sat on the curbs and played music. Some danced, some kids are playing It as their parents watched from the outside Costa attached to the supermarket, and the teenagers smoked weed in a corner and laughed at their phones

    It was nice. 2015 was a chill year.

        It’s a flat open space that can function as a public square. Humans have gathered in public squares since time immemorial. It’s not a US thing

          yet nobody i know irl knows car parks as anything other than a place to store their cars while they go to the actual human park.

            Depends how good the human park is. The Sainsbury im talking about has a park right next door to it, but you’re not allowed to grill there, the grass is muddy and wet if it rained in the morning, there are too few benches to sit, and trees block any natural congregation point.

            Wide open car park is a natural choice sometimes. Easy access to beer and snacks too without needing a bag to transport

                It depends on the park, but generally yes. Just not enough for everyone to have a seat. Party of three? sure. Party of five? At least one person is standing
